The benefits of LTP GLAZE PROTECTOR
Durable against high traffic, dust and non-corrosive stains, with low aftercare
Designed for interior areas
Provides a ''just washed look''
Directions for use:
Newly installed surfaces – make sure surface to be treated is completely clean, dry and free from cement and grout stain. For initial cleaning use LTP Grimex or if the surface is severely stained and allows it (for ex.: tumbled surface, brushed, flamed or even polished) use LTP Grout Stain Remover. Existing surfaces – first clean and degrease surfaces with LTP Grimex taking care to rinse well. Leave to dry out thoroughly (for 24 hours). Any retained moisture in the grout joints may cause LTP Glaze Protector to cure with an opaque finish, thus preventing the sealing from reaching a full and complete hardness.
Application:
Apply using a cloth soaked in solution. Pour contents into a separate container. Dip cloth into solution and squeeze it. Fold the cloth and apply evenly to the surface without rubbing. Apply until an evenly thin film is created (average 3 times). Allow to dry (for about 1 hr). Do not over apply as too many coats may cause unsightly build up and/or reduce the efficiency of the product. Hardens after about an hour but will take a further three days to achieve full hardness and become fully water resistant. If in doubt, experiment on spare tiles to establish the correct method of application and optimum number of coats before general use. Rinse floor with cloth and water after use.
Maintenance:
Routinely sweep the floor. Use LTP Floorshine to clean and protect treated surfaces. In areas where the seal becomes worn, apply more LTP Glaze Protector. At some stage, a resealing might be needed. In this case use LTP Grimex for removing the original sealing before re-sealing.
Consumption:
1L = 30-40 sqm per liter (one layer) depending on the degree of porosity of your underlayer.
Attention:
Keep away from children. Store it in a frost-free area. Avoid extreme temperatures. Avoid using powerful solutions for cleaning the surfaces treated with LTP Glaze Protector.
Do not apply in exterior, to avoid direct contact with UV radiation!
