The roads of Ancient history are still in use today. With already confirmed durability, we should add that cobblestone benefits from several types of finishes consisting of tumbled, bush hammered, non-polished or faceted materials.
Besides the roads, pedestrian alleys, squares and small squares, car parkings, cobblestone can be used for different decorative structures in the garden, pool copings around swimming pool etc. It is installed on a sand / gravel bed or on the semi dry screed and is grouted with fine sand or cement milk. In most of the cases and for aesthetic and practical reasons, the cobblestone paving requires sidewalk kerbstones.
