Slate is a sedimentary, metamorphic natural stone, with 6-7 hardness out of 10 on the Mohs scale and low porosity. It withstands fine in acids and water environments and in addition to this has fireproof features. Also, is not influenced by environmental factors (temperature, wind, rain, UV radiations etc.), mechanic shocks and freeze-thaw cycles. Slate can be used for interior or exterior decoration projects and is available as tiles, panels, mosaic, cobblestone, countertops and SKIN flexible slate.
Indian Autumn Slate is available as panels, with the color of autumn on the prairie. Archaic, yet with light and slightly discolored copper shades, Indian Autumn Slate is the perfect solution for stylish claddings, for interior or exterior. The 15 x 60 cm panel size will allow easy installation and its low thickness maintains a minimum panel weight, thus avoiding wall stuffing.
Indian Autumn Slate is installed without joints, by applying adhesive with a notched trowel and combing the surface. Treating surfaces, especially for interior wet spaces and exteriors, is highly recommended, for allowing the surface to preserve its original appearance.
