Tips for installation:
This is as important as choosing the stone best suited to your decoration project
After unpacking, the tiles must be washed and dried
Measure your area first for determining exactly the tiles that require chiseling at the edges
We recommend Weber Set Porcelain Max2, a fast setting flexible adhesive also suitable for exterior and underfloor heating
Weber Color Perfect grout joint will be applied after installation for highlighting the natural stone; you have 30 shades to choose from
For a correct installation we recommend hiring an expert in natural stone installation
Tips for natural stone aftercare
Nero Slate has a durability difficult to match, yet for an extended lifetime you should keep in mind 3 steps: cleaning, sealing and aftercare
Cleaning is recommended before sealing and for this you can use LTP Grimex from our product range
We recommend sealing the surface with LTP Mattstone H20, environmental friendly solution based on water; for a fresh look you can use LTP Glaze Protector and if you want to enhance the color of natural stone, yet without “just washed look” LTP Colour Intensifier is recommended
LTP Glaze Protector is not recommended for the exterior, due to UV radiation
Sealing (waterproofing) closes the micro pores, preventing the penetration of water into the surface, hence stone will not stain so easily
For daily cleaning and aftercare you can use LTP Waxwash cleaner that will not influence the sealed surface
For difficult stains use LTP Power Stripper; LTP Grout Stain Remover is recommended for dust stains
