Weber Marmo Plus is the number 1 adhesive for any natural stone: marble, granite, slate etc. This white colored semi-professional adhesive can be used in all types of arrangements, both interior and exterior. It can also be easily applied on almost all supporting surfaces by following the instructions on the label (see the bottom of the page for basic instructions). Weber Marmo Plus represents a trustful solution when working with natural stone, both in the case of residential properties and public spaces.
The adhesive for marble and granite Weber Marmo Plus is a cement based white-colored powder with mineral additions and professional synthetic resins. Applicable in thin layers, this non-toxic product with increased adherence can be used both at the interior and the exterior for walls, floors (heated or not) and swimming pool finishes. Does not alter the color of the stone.
Surface it's applied on:
Without primer: It is applied on concrete, easy concrete, porous concrete, lime-cement groutings, old groutings, cement screeds, heated floors and cement-based sealings.
With primer: Creating a primer using Weber GR100 it can also be applied on other surfaces with high or very low water absorption ã such as fresh-concrete, fresh-grouting, ceramic tiles.
Surface preparation: The supporting surface must be clean, undeformed, dry and stable and the applied pieces must be clean, without traces of grease, oils, dust or other impurities. The concrete must be at the age of maturity, the screeds must be at least 28 days old and groutings must have low absorption levels.
Preparation and application methods: Continuously pour a bag in 7 liters of water and mix manually or mechanically using an electric mixer until an unitary mix is obtained. Mix once again after a break of about 5 minutes. The resulted adhesive is spread across the entire supporting surface using a grooved trowel. In the case of large sized pieces, the adhesive will be spread both on the tile and on the supporting surface. The tiles are installed by manually pressing them onto the contact surface until obtaining a plane surface. The tiles must be placed in the adhesive layer during the open time.
Recommendations:
Do not wet the tiles before cladding.
Use the right amount of water while mixing.
Application temperature: between +5°C º- +30°C.

Waiting time after mixing: 5 minutes
Time for installation: 2-3 hours since preparing the paste
Crust formation time: 20 minutes
Adjusting time: 15 minutes after applying it on the support

These times are valid for a temperature of 20 degrees C and a relative air humidity of 65%. Higher temperature values shorten these times, while lower ones increase them.
Contains cement. Makes an alkaline reaction with water. In case it gets in contact with the eyes, rinse them with plenty of water and ask the doctor’s advice.
