Slate is a hard and durable stone, but for extending its lifetime you should consider 3 steps: cleaning, sealing and aftercare
Even when installed on the exterior, slate has to be cleaned with LTP Grimex after installation and before sealing
We recommend sealing the surface with LTP Mattstone H2O, an eco-friendly product based on water
This procedure creates a barrier against water, rejecting surface penetration
Slate does not require special cleaning; you can use LTP Waxwash, a cleaner without any influence on the sealed surface
