Used for cladding, Filetti Rhodos Slate Strips can be easily used in both exterior and interior cladding, due to its properties: hardness, durability and excellent behavior in freeze-thaw cycles. Tips for installation

Recommended adhesives: Weber Set Marmo Plus/Weber Set Porcelain Max, both flexible, fast setting adhesives, ideal for both interior and exterior use
The surface should be entirely covered with adhesive for a proper binding
Recommended underlays for installing slate: concrete / thermo system / dry wall
For projects up to 3 m height, stone can be cladded directly over the thermo system
For projects above 3 m height, it is mandatory to use melded wire mesh and dowels for securing the thermo system
If you want to install it over drywall, it is mandatory to use post rabitz
Weber Color Comfort joint grout is applied after installation, for highlighting natural stone (30 shades available).
The product is delivered on pallets, approx. 10 sqm packaging

How to care for natural stone surfaces?
Filleti Rhodos Slate is a hard, durable stone, which requires 3 essential steps for an extended lifetime: cleaning, sealing and maintenance
Cleaning is completed before sealing and for this you can use LTP Grimex, available in our product range
For a fresh look, surface has to be sealed with LTP Mattstone, for color enhancing without the “just washed” look we recommend LTP Colour Intensifier. These two products will protect the surface, preventing water penetration and as a result stone will not stain so easily.
For daily cleaning and natural stone maintenance use a washing agent such as LTP Waxwash or LTP Stonewash cleaner that will not destroy the sealed surfaces. For difficult stains use LTP Power Stripper and LTP Grout Stain Remover for rust stains.
